beautiful jenni

My lovely friend Jenni came to visit last week - and since just a few days earlier I had gotten my new camera AND a new lens - she agreed to a little photo shoot. It was SO fun - but SOOOO HOT!! The sun was blazing and the temps were in the 90s, so we had to run to the vehicle to cool off in the AC now and then!

So a big THANK YOU to Jenni for dealing with the heat and being my beautiful model... here's your sneaky peek of just a FEW from the day!










Isn't she GORGEOUS? There's a reason my husband calls her "Hot Jenni" ;)

...about posting these workshop pics? My days have been very full lately, which is a good thing! But unfortunately, it means the poor blog gets neglected. But alas, here are some images from The Secret Workshop I attended in Dallas put on by Cheryl Muhr and Amy Smith.

I have a busy week approaching with three shoots in five days - plus some photos yet to post of a fun session from last week. So check back - things will be changing! :)

I went. I learned. I laughed. I cried.

I had my life changed.

In a word, The Secret Workshop was AMAZING.

Words cannot express my gratitude to Cheryl Muhr and Amy Smith (and all the other FABULOUS photographers that I can't even begin to start listing). It was so much more than just another photography workshop - it was empowering and inspiring - and absolutely unforgettable.

I'm incredibly overwhelmed and behind on a lot of things right now - photo editing, 365 photos, laundry ;) But I will get to all of that soon.

For now - a teeny tiny peek at an image I caught during the workshop. They brought in the cutest, most adorable kiddos (in equally cute outfits) to model for us.
