who's excited?!...

....this little guy is!!! :)



His mommy and daddy are getting married this weekend! I got together with Rachel and Jordan last week for a little engagement/family session. Hope to post a few more from their session this week before they tie the knot this Saturday! Stay tuned! :)

Kathryne & JJ | Married

I had the privilege of second shooting with Tiffany Brubaker once again. Funny little fact; I shot with her twice this year - once at her first wedding of the season in May, and now her last of the season in October :) Tiffany is due with her second little bundle of joy in just a few short weeks (see her family/maternity session here)... she was a trooper at this wedding, you wouldn't even guess she was 35 weeks pregnant!

Kathryne and JJ were wonderful... a gorgeous day and a gorgeous couple...

Trying...

Time seems to be slipping through my fingers lately... I just can't seem to keep up. I wish there were more hours in a day. Although, I would probably want to spend those extra minutes cuddled up with my baby in my arms, my nose nuzzled into the creases of his sweet little neck, soaking up that yummy, baby-smelling "essence" as my husband calls it.

If you are waiting on me... please know, I am trying. Trying to keep up. Trying to get things done. Trying to balance a full-time job. Trying to edit photos. Trying to be a wife. Trying to be a mom.

If you are waiting on me....thank you for having patience. And please know, I'm trying very hard to do the best I can.

I have many photos to post... they are coming. Soon. I promise.

And here are a couple of photos - taken by my dear friend Kristen Olson - when my baby was just two weeks old. He is sooo tiny here... proving again how time just keeps flying by. If only it would slow down.

kelsey & jesse | engaged

Kelsey & Jesse are such a sweet couple... and I think after a bit, Jesse was enjoying himself too - even though I was making him do a lot of "public display of affection". It was a beautiful night and there were lots of onlookers during the session... ;)

Brittany & Nic | Engaged

We have been having some amazing weather this October... which is a huge plus for my couples! It was another beautiful night for Brittany & Nic's engagement photos. They are so cute together, and I can't wait for their wedding NEXT October - on Sweetest Day! :)
