Trying...
Time seems to be slipping through my fingers lately... I just can't seem to keep up. I wish there were more hours in a day. Although, I would probably want to spend those extra minutes cuddled up with my baby in my arms, my nose nuzzled into the creases of his sweet little neck, soaking up that yummy, baby-smelling "essence" as my husband calls it.
If you are waiting on me... please know, I am trying. Trying to keep up. Trying to get things done. Trying to balance a full-time job. Trying to edit photos. Trying to be a wife. Trying to be a mom.
If you are waiting on me....thank you for having patience. And please know, I'm trying very hard to do the best I can.
I have many photos to post... they are coming. Soon. I promise.
And here are a couple of photos - taken by my dear friend Kristen Olson - when my baby was just two weeks old. He is sooo tiny here... proving again how time just keeps flying by. If only it would slow down.

April - you look AMAZING - are you sure you are the one that gave birth?? :) Alec is adorable and you are an amazing wife, mother, photographer AND employee. Those are 4 very time consuming roles and to fit all 4 in every day is really hard! I don't know how you do it!!! Praying your clients have patience as you cuddle your son and heal completely yourself! :)

April sweetheart. Take the word "trying" and turn it into "succeeding." You take what some people could never hope to achieve, do it well, and still manage to be completely adorable all at the same time. So, based on that...
Congratulations on all of your recent successes. Know that I would have stuffed time into that envelope if I could have, and that you have all our love.
